Continuous ribbon spools

We offer different standard of spools from 100mL to 1.200mL continuous bamboo ribbons. These ribbons can be 2mm to 5mm wide and 0,15mm to 0,3mm thick. Several versions are available, either dry or preimpregnated, with thermoplastic or thermoset matrices. COBRATEX’ innovation enables these ribbons to have 600tex to 1200tex only. 

These products are suited for several composite manufacturing processes, including filament winding, pultrusion and automated fibre placement (AFP). These spools have already been used to manufacture industrial equipment covers and products for interior design and other markets.
