What is JEC World ?

JEC WORLD is one of the world’s leading trade shows dedicated to composites. It is held every year in Paris, at the Villepinte exhibition centre, and attracts many trade visitors from all over the world. At this event, exhibitors present the latest innovations in composite materials, as well as manufacturing and assembling processes, machining and the performances of new materials in terms of mechanical properties and others.

The 2023 edition of the show was no exception, bringing together a multitude of exhibitions from professionals from various industrial sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, marine, tooling and many others. JEC WORLD 2023 was once again a unique opportunity for visitors to discover the latest trends, the most recent innovations, the most cutting-edge sectors and the most innovative composite materials of the moment.

During the event, visitors could attend demonstrations, meet exhibitors from different companies, take part in conferences, visit stands dedicated to professionals, as well as discover the different areas organised by major players in the sector, such as Arkema, Solvay, 3A Composites, Hexcel, Saertex and many others who take part in numerous exhibitions and events dedicated to composites.

The high attendance at this show is largely due to the participation of major industrial groups such as Airbus and Safran, who regularly exhibit their latest innovations in composites. The show is also an opportunity to discover innovative start-ups that are looking to enter the composites market or are already present. The show is organised in such a way as to make it easy for exhibitors and trade visitors to visit, with car parks close by, easy access and a large exhibition area.

Visitors are issued with a badges allowing them to move freely between the various stands and exhibitions, without having to worry about registering in advance. In a nutshell, JEC WORLD 2023 is a must-attend industry show for all players in the composites sector.

As an exhibitor at this year’s event, Cobratex was able to showcase its product range and the achievements of its customers in the Startup Village, an area dedicated to innovation at this international trade fair. The Cobratex stand was kept busy with visitors throughout the three days of the show. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the exhibitors and visitors for the interest they showed in us.

Cobratex is delighted to have been selected as one of the 10 Startup Booster finalists. Cobratex has been selected from among several hundred start-ups worldwide to present our company, our products and all our innovations at the JEC’s major Startup Booster competition.

Here are few highlights from the 2023 show :

• Our new “Cobradive” model was on display in the dedicated ” Planet Industry ” area.
• Demonstrators of finished products incorporating our reinforcements and parts were present on several partner and customer stands. The entire Cobratex team would like to thank you for your trust.
• The creation of new forms of collaboration with several research laboratories on complementary and additional topics with respect to all our current projects.
• We have been able to establish a number of commercial relationships that are proving to be very promising.
• We have been able to consolidate negotiations with leading manufacturers from the market to support us in our vast industrialisation.
