Decarbonising industrial logistics is on its way !

A growing number of industries are moving towards mature markets. The supply chain is at the heart of the challenges companies face. Globalisation, more volatile customer demands and pressure to control costs are all part of these new challenges. Beyond distribution and logistics, the supply chain concept is the backbone of a sustainable business model.

Forizons, a consulting firm, expert in “Supply Chain” created in 2000, has specialised in the optimisation of end to end flows and in operational performance. Since then, Forizons decided, over 2 years ago, to add the decarbonisation of the Supply Chain to their consulting offer for their industrial clients on a transnational scale. In this new perspective, and considering proximity of Toulouse, in 2020 Forizons approached Cobratex to obtain technical expertise on bio-based composite materials and on the design of products with a positive environmental impact.

Cobratex and Forizons share common values on sustainable development, as well as knowledge of the major players in the aeronautics sector. This partnership has enabled us to create several developments that have resulted in products and packaging with remarkable performances and functionnal innovations. First results are very promising: the products have a significant environmental impact, they provide pragmatic solutions to a fast evolving market, and they have an unrivalled lifespan compared to those currently in use.

As a result of this synergy, which is growing on a daily basis, Cobratex will be present at the 2022 edition of the Produrable trade fair alongside our partner Forizons. We warmly thank Forizons for choosing Cobratex to find and bring innovative solutions to make industrial logistics more sustainable.
